When it comes to grassroots political campaigns, maximizing donations is essential for fueling momentum and outreach. If you're part of a political campaign group like Indy4Indy, aiming to make a difference in local communities, effective fundraising strategies can make a significant impact on your progress.
Political campaigns are notoriously expensive to run, and typical independent candidates (or indeed smaller parties) simply cannot compete on a financial basis with the parties of the establishment. Most have no donors pledging vast sums of money, or 10s of 1000s of supporters paying subscriptions. Big business is unlikely to see any benefit in supporting an independent.
It is therefor extremely important that we use all means at our disposal to raise the very necessary revenues. That need not be the sole responsibility of the indy4indy admin group, but individuals are encouraged to use their own initiatives to help in this goal. We will of course run fundraising events from time to time, and would hope that you would support us in these endeavours
